Resource Travel and our friends at 500px are currently exploring Iceland with Iurie Belegurschi, an award winning landscape photographer and the co-founder of Guide to Iceland. As soon as we got in our Land Cruiser, we headed out to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, home of some of the most rugged coastline Iceland has to offer.
Throughout the day, we went to some of Belegurschi’s favorite locations, watching him set up compositions and decide how to best photograph the less than ideal white sky. I edited a quick 4k teaser video from the massive amounts of footage we captured, although most of it was edited in the backseat of the Land Cruiser while we traversed rocky and bumpy roads…definitely a first for me. So if you have a 4k monitor, time to put it to good use!
This was just the warm up…we have some more incredible footage from the remote highlands, hidden waterfalls and Glacier Lagoon, so subscribe to our blog and YouTube to be informed when a new teaser is uploaded! And believe me, they are pretty epic. We have some incredible aerial footage from our two DJI Phantom 3 quadcopters that you will not want to miss. Also, make sure to follow the trip on the Resource Travel and the 500px Instagram accounts and with the hashtag #500pxIcelandTour.
